Wedding Planning - 5/6/2022
Newlyweds have drifted away from the traditional two-week honeymoon to a new trend called a “mini-moon”. A mini-moon is a smaller amount of time and usually somewhere closer to the wedding. It can be hard for couples to take off that much time from work for a traditional honeymoon that's why they resort to the mini-moon.
Also, after a costly wedding, it could make more sense financially to do a smaller vacation and relieve stress from all the wedding festivities. This would allow the newlyweds to save up more for their dream vacation as well.
4 of the top mini-moon destinations in the United States are:
1. New Orleans: Take a trip to the “big easy”, a beautiful city with a vibrant live music scene. New Orleans is known for its distinctive music, jazz clubs, cocktail bars, and of course Mardi Gras. Take a walk down Bourbon Street and you will have the time of your life!
2. Key West: Key West is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself. Also, if you love seafood, they have some of the most delicious seafood dishes. If you love the water theirs a lot of water activities you could do like snorkeling and sunset sails. Perfect place to dig your feet in the sand and watch the beautiful sunset with your loved one!
3. Vermont: No matter the season, Vermont is beautiful year-round and has something to do for everyone. It is known for its scenic views like the majestic green mountains and skiing. While you are there don't forget to stop by Church Street Marketplace for a souvenir, a street filled with bakeries, shops, restaurants, and boutiques.
4. Arizona: Some of the most gorgeous desert landscapes and golf resorts live here. Arizona receives very little precipitation throughout the year and nice temperatures in the winter, spring, and fall months.
